yea no.
honestly i can understand there being some changes but if you’re gonna change something then change it in a good way. Overall i feel like there is zero chemistry between the actors and zero emotion in general. There is are unnecessary scenes and wasted time. The pacing is all over the place. One episode there is so much going on and so many characters it’s hard to follow and the next i feel like the episode could be half the length it was. There are to many close up shots where we can’t see any movement or body language to show any sort of emotion. After seeing some clips of the actors I can at least say i don’t think they are bad actors but i think they have been given bad direction and a poor script. The writing is extremely cringy and it explains things that would be more meaningful if it was more of a silent understanding. The characters are currently at a point where it is hard for me to see any growth from them. For example in the Original I hated Zuko at first. It wasn’t until much later that his character grew and developed. I don’t see how Aang can develop to a more mature character that’s fully accepted his responsibility when he is already being portrayed as that. I know they wanted to make this show more adult but there are definitely better ways to go about that. The things that I do appreciate about this show is the scenery and landscape. I also think that the bending was done very well. Unfortunately other than a few select moments and characters that’s all I can enjoy.
