From the start I loved the photography. The black white film noir,with Italy looming with a dark decadent feel...I had no connection or empathy for the Tom Ripley character..( intended?) He was truly pschopathic.. scary without charm...I related more to Matt Damon ..Dakota Fanninhg was totally flat and unappealing. All in all liked this series alot though. Couldn't compare this Dickie to sexy charismatic Jude Law...
