I find it funny that every one-star review calls this show “woke” as if that’s a bad thing. If the word “woke” was in use when the original was made, people would have called it just that. This is a continuation of the original story so the characters have not been “changed”, it’s a new generation of people revisiting the “failed” Quantum Leap project and continuing Sam’s work. As the original did back in the 80’s, they address modern social issues through the lens of history. Truly an excellent show, very glad to hear it got renewed for a season 2!
