overall i really enjoyed it. that’s not to say it doesn’t have flaws, though. my main issue was some of the dialogue, especially from amanda pharrell, kinda made me cringe. it was very “i’m so cool and edgy and scary, look at me being intimidating” and i couldn’t help but roll my eyes. i would’ve liked to see more conflict between the two leads as well, and the last episode left me with a lot of questions. however, i still think it’s a really good show and i’d recommend it. the acting was great and although some of the conflict between characters felt a bit half-cooked, most of it was brilliant. you could usually see things from both perspectives, especially with pharrel and damford (that being said i did not like damford in the end). it’s always nice seeing thomas jane in things as well, so that was a plus for me. the mystery itself was pretty good, i personally didn’t see it coming but there were subtle clues along the way, though maybe not enough to piece it together yourself. if you’ve got some time to kill, i’d say give this a shot, it’s pretty great as mystery dramas go
