So! This is an incredibly useful tool for new players, setting up important fundamentals from what each piece is named and where they go, to openings and tactics that you can do with them, showing examples of how they can be applied in games. If you are a new player looking for a way to get into the chess world, you are the target demographic. If you are already 500-700 in rapid rating, this book will be slightly less useful, but you can still learn some interesting openings and gambits from it. Anyone rated around 750 and above in rapid, I don't recommend this to, because you will already know most of the things this book has to offer. Only reason I rated this 4 instead of 5 stars is because I didn't realize that, and bought the book around 750ish myself. It'd be nice if they advertised the target demographic a little more clearly, but that's my only complaint. I did learn my favorite opening from it, though! (The pirc defense)
