The story telling is really imaginative and the animation is really well done and colorful. My only complaint is the American voice over actor for the character Akko was way too over the top and screamed too much. I realize the character was supposed to be a screwup and goofy, but the actors voice was obnoxiously loud, annoyingly high pitched and whiny, making it hard to connect with the character. I turned on the Japanese audio and Akko was much easier to listen to and connect with. The only reason I continued watching the show in English was because the other voice over actors were really good and helped make the show more entertaining.

I enjoyed this action film, Milla Jovovich and Tony Jaa paring alone made this movie fun for me. The special effects and sound/music were all really good as well. Not sure what people look for in action films, I certainly don't watch them when I'm looking for deep and introspective entertainment. This film checked off a lot of boxes for me... decent acting, griping action, visual arts and intensity. I have experience sitting through horrible films and this isn't one of them.
