This is, by far, the best national news program on television. I have been watching since 2010, I love the unbiased in-depth reporting, the strive for accuracy, and the compassionate investment by your journalists. great journalists... Lisa Desjardins, Yamiche Alcindor, Nick Shifrin, John Yang, William Brangham, and most especially the anchor, Judy Woodruff .
I will hate to see her retire, but am most concerned as to who would be her replacement. It appears Amna Nawaz is being groomed for that position. I sincerely hope that is NOT the case! Watching and observing her over the last four years has let me see her up close. She is definitely ambitious and has her eye on the prize. But I question her sincerity and compassion. I realize it is important for you to consider diversity when selecting Judy's replacement, and I agree, but you have many other, seemingly equally qualified, candidates who appear to my eye, invested in the people and the stories. I have asked myself if I could watch Amna as chief anchor, and after watching her all this past week, I'm afraid I could not.
