Complete trash!
1. The characters are underdeveloped and basic, if this was from a white director, we would be outraged by the stereotypes. The narrative is dangerous.
2. Sodom and Gomorrah on steroids! There isn't a single healthy relationship. The black women are either black mammys, strippers, or flat out disgusting. Who is behind this writing, they might need to deal with their trauma and mommy issues because it is clearly evident that they are troubled and also need to come to terms with their own sexuality.
3. We cannot get behind any character at all, they lack complexity and depth. They are all portrayed as sadistic, sick and manipulative.
This is the absolute worst I have seen from Tyler Perry. Im disappointed. He used the church to build his platform and then invited hell into every inch of the story telling.
