*Spoilers... probably.
It's a weird messed up film. The lead being cringey and stuff lines up with what they were going for with the character. Spoiled white kid believes he will get away with anything and does whatever he wants. It checks out in reality.
My biggest complaint about this film, and why i gave it 3 stars... doorknobs.
Am I the only person who noticed how all the doorknobs are at a ridiculously high level? What home has the doorknobs through the whole house at 5 foot high up the door? I had problems focusing on parts of the movie because all I could stare at was the doorknobs and tried to figure out why on earth they would be that high. Did the set construction install the doors upside down, leaving the knows at a comically high level? We're they trying to use a perspective technique to make the kids look very short? They were all 13 and older, they wouldn't need to be made to look the size of a toddler. Im so confused and need answers. What the hell is going on with the doorknobs in this house? If you watch this film, yeah the plot is a nice twist and it's a weird creeper take on home invasion, but if you're anything like me you'll just want to know why the doorknobs are so high. Like, inconvenient for a grown adult to use high.
