One of my best watched movies. Besides the obvious running plots and character developments; I saw some similarities to current mythical ideologies and the final freedom resulting from resistence to negative psychological indoctrination.
I am referring to Itienne's battle trauma and Werner's Nazi indoctrination and their final psychological freedom.
Excellent film.
