A great film with a fulfilling continuation from Terminator 2!
The film takes place in 2004 and is about an adult John Connor living off the grid after his mother Sarah passed away in 1997 and a new character named Kate Brewster, who is John’s inevitable spouse.
2 Terminators are once again sent back through time, the T-X and T-850, one to kill and one to protect.
The T-X, a new advanced series of female terminators, had been sent back in time to kill both Kate & John along with their allies who would’ve fought with the resistance.
The T-850 Terminator Arnold had been sent back in time by Kate Brewster after the resistance captured him when he had killed John Connor in 2032.
This film sticks to the idea that Judgement Day is inevitable and that any attempt made to stop it only postpones it. John however is determined to do whatever it takes to prevent the war, despite it being set in motion and impossible to abort
There’s plenty to love about this film, although the emotional depth and connection to the audience about the inner scars of war are lacking in some aspects of the film, but otherwise a worthy watch for the terminator fans.
