My mother was born in Ponca City in the 30โs. My grandparents and great grandparents on both sides of my family were in the oil business.
Were there injustices? Absolutely! Just like there are today. This portrayal though is sophomoric and over simplified. โBad white manโ is so simplistic and such an affront to everyone in Oklahoma . Native Americans included. Perhaps more so.
