During this lockdown, there was nothing else left to watch. So, I decided to give it a shot.
I had no idea what this movie is about, other than the description provided by Netflix. It seemed childish, yet something I might enjoy, so I took my chances.
The film started, and on that time I was eating, so I didn't give that much of an attention until the moment Alex's mom says good bye to him by singing a song.. btw don't worry there won't be much spoilers..
Characters are pretty weird, but I overlooked those facts thinking this is a kid's film..but then suddenly out of no where there was a lot of sex talk going on.. like seriously one of the teenager, was spilling out sex talks a little too much..then showing some adult kinda feelings from the kids gave me cringe..well there are a lot of stuffs which gave me cringe..
But, there were few scenes which I liked..like the scene when the alien managed to hurt one of the kid, it felt something real..and at the end of the film, one of the kid was climbing up and was about to fall..that kinda looked good too..other than that..the film was quite weird...for adults as well as for kids..
Btw, the fact that an adult trusted these kids to save the world from aliens was really funny to me.. when the astronaut did that, I understood why that might be..but then the soldier did it too, that was really weird and unrealistic.. if their target audiences were kids then it was a good movie except the fact that they used a lot of sexual references, which I don't think good for kids..
