I love it and give it props for nostalgia since it has actually been awhile since we played the story from the heroes view. But the gameplay is too simple it is as if the game holds your hand you can go through the entire game without needing to learn the supers yes they make the game easier but in my opinion the next up date should have a difficulty setting like other rpg's like final fantasy 15 which ironically felt allot similar to the play in kakarot. Don't get me wrong I am a dbz gamer I have Dragon ball bodakai 1-3, infinite world, tentakaichi 1-3 raging blast 1-2 dragon ball saga's ultimate tentakaichi, xenoverse 1-2 and even dragon ball heroes world mission. What I do love is how this game ties in Xenoverse 1 and 2, an even fighterz. This game is it's own master piece, giving us a game timeline to follow for the games which is, Xenoverse 1 then kakarot then fighterz and lastly xenoverse 2 I felt that if you play them in that order everything about the 4 games made practical sense. all in all Dragon ball's Open world and side quests were the main fun for me for one mission that stood out was getting the golden antlers after playing 3 hours and killing 200 dear i got it. But yeah there are tons of bugs like when i start flying the model often shakes but is easy fix by shaking analog, the npc's often make stuff like raditz saga when roshi goes in his house he'd get stuck on the stairs its funny but its a bug. I give the game a 9/10 the bugs are meh the gameplay is decent just slow but it does bring joy. but replayablity not so much.
