Shady McCoy, I like the drip and respect the player you were, but your Philly bias rhetoric is a buzz kill and I don't even get high. The 49ers are clearly the best team in football and the only reason that you're singing the Eagles praises is because they beat a fourth string quarterback in the NFC Championship game. Had Brock Purdy not gotten injured the 49ers would have beaten the brakes off the Eagles. December the 3rd will be the tale of the tape. When the dust settles and the smoke clears and the Niners are standing there with their foot on the Eagles throat, please don't give any excuses. Accept that the Niners are the best team in the NFL and give us our flowers.

GMF is a fun show to watch, but unfortunately, like many other network shows, there is far too much east coast media bias. The best team in pro football is the San Francisco 49ers, but they don't get any air time. Instead, the viewing public has to listen to talk about the self imposed "Americas team", as if someone other than a Cowboys fan actually cares. The new name on the block is the Philadelphia Eagles with this so-called pedigree that they bring to the table. The Eagles have played in 8 NFC Championship games and won 4 with one Superbowl Title on their mantle. The San Francisco 49ers have appeared in 18 NFC Championships with 7 wins and 5 Superbowl Championships. Since 2018 the Eagles have appeared in 2 NFC Championship games and while they won both including their only Superbowl win, the 49ers have appeared in 3 of the last 4 NFC Championship games and one Superbowl appearance. Every 3 years in order for an NFC team to reach the Superbowl they have to play the 49ers. No other team in football can make that claim. So if the crew of GMF or their guests want to talk pedigree then the first team name that should come off their lips, if they're going to be realistic about the best team, then it should be the 49ers not the Philadelphia Eagles or the Cowboys or Kansas City Chiefs.
