Great movie. Also very racist. (Like _Rocky_, for example). All villains are Black, except the hapless drunk. The white woman is attacked by voodoo-costumed Haitian witch doctors. The young white man, describing Louis Gossett Jr's character, says he looks like a "basketball player." Yeah. Gossett tries to humanize his role, but he's working against a racist script. What's amazing is that NOW, in 2025, none of these user reviews mention what is obvious.
