As a new french learner this movie was excellent. I was able to listen and understand words clearly, as they talked much slower than many other french films. This helped me improve so much! The story line was also quite heartwarming. I loved the inclusion of stopping during the road trip to meet new characters. My favourite was definitely Pierre he was such a sweet old man. To any French teachers looking for a “real” french movie, this may not be the one. It has an American style plot (with french actors snd directors), and most children will find it boring as there are no special effects, and hardly any humorous parts to the film.
