Didn’t think 2020 would remembered as a Grand Cru for movies but it seems many actors outdid themselves this year. Viola Davis and Chadwick Boseman are greater than life and drag us into the dark atmosphere of early blues.it never felt stiff nor static, which is often the case with plays brought to screen. Masterly done!
