Mackenzie Hargreaves

I read this book in an evening, it was hard to put it down. Marianne was such a relatable character, but there were moments when she was infuriating. The ending was upsetting and not at all how I had hoped the story would end, but it is what it is. Overall, it was a captivating story about relationships. 4/5

John Green did such a phenomenal job at describing mental illness and while the main characters situation is unique, it's so easy to identify with so much of what she and other characters are feeling. The main character can be hard to like at times but I feel like that's the point. This was my first story by John Green but it was well worth the read.
