I'm an early 70's woman who happened upon this show. I was hooked! I could see so clearly all those missteps and awkwardness around budding relationships. Oh, how we want to be loved, are we deserving of love, am I being too pushy, too needy, am I being too honest about who I am . . . . ?? I loved the honesty of Mickey and Gus that developed over the three seasons. I'm 18 years into my third marriage and can say that being your authentic self is the key to success in love.
