Prizewinng author; really?
A ten year old might be impressed, but I'm not.
He said, she said, he said, she said. Not very good for a professional author. My advice, give it a miss.

Supposed 'Experts', who predominantly buy repro items, and appear not to know the difference.
This could be an excellent programme and encourage people to explore the world of antiques. What a shame; an opportunity lost!

Have read a few by Ian McEwan but just couldn't get into this one. A faint plot interrupted by lengthy off-topic ramblings. Perhaps too highbrow for me, or vice-versa.
Persevered to perhaps half way through before, reluctantly, admitting defeat; a first for me.

At times unable to pick out what the actors were saying, because of the music; particularly the heavy bass. A shame as this spoilt an otherwise decent drama.
Happens with a lot of dramas nowadays. Poor sound production!
