Gave up on this book specifically on page 192, where the main character, in the same breath, gets mad at being called a damsel in distress while simultaneously being romanced by an abusive, over protective man holding her against her will. The author tries desperately to convince me that she's a very strong and intelligent woman, but if you can't prove that in any of her actions, then your words don't mean anything. I'm tired of weak-minded and weak-bodied female leads. And when will the romanticization of abusive relationships die?
