Midnight Mass is an exceptional balance of horror and deep, reflective meaning that makes you want to watch again and again. It weaves themes of faith, personal struggle, societal prejudices, nostalgia, and horror cinematography in a way that truly makes it an original. The way Flanagan visualizes the story arc, intentional use of hymns, personal conversations, and community is so worth watching again, pushing you to see what you missed the first time. While the ending doesn’t easily provide for a Season 2, I look forward to other Netflix series like this one. 10/10!
