This movie has aged well, now almost 30 years old. I recall seeing this when it first came out in a local theater. After watching Stanley Tucci in his specials about Italy and the food and people as he travels about Italy and a few other specials about different chefs, I checked it out of my local library to watch again. I was not disappointed. Great cast which for some were early in their careers, great acting and story line. The food is as much a star in this movie because like Stanley points out in his current specials, it brings people together and binds us all as humans.
