It's "meh". There is nothing overly interesting about it. The characters and dialogue are corny. The fight scenes look over-rehearsed and harmless. The story uses very obvious plot holes or unrational persuasion to get you to accept the the writing.
You find yourself very quickly not caring about anything that's unfolding. My kids like it because it's "Star Wars" - so there is that.
