This is one of my favourite movies of all time. The pacing can be a bit slow, but it really serves to show how alone and slow Priscilla's life was with Elvis absent. It allows the emotions of the movie to sit with the audience, for you to really feel her loneliness, her lostness, how she doesn't really have anyone in her life for HER. The acting is excellent, the evolution of time and of Elvis's influence is shown clearly in the film through her hair, makeup and costume. The controversy and music licensing problems that happened behind the scenes add to the final product, because they take away what made Elvis superior, and turned him into just a man again. I would consider this movie almost perfect. I recently did my 6th rewatch, and each time I find a new filmmaking technique to accentuate the story of this film. I would recommend it to absolutely everyone, and don't really understand the hate towards it, I think people just aren't used to letting things sit with them, they expect everything to be a glorified tik tok montage, just like that god-awful Elvis film.
