Movie was... bad, just bad. The filmmakers got all the key moments horribly wrong. The avalanche scene for example, the whole sequence looked quite ridiculous. Another was Mulan leaving the house to take his father's place. If they had just remade the entire scene shot-by-shot together with the background music from the animation movie, it would have been awesome. And the final fight scene too; was so lame it made Chinese kung fu look like a slapstick joke. I mean they had Jet Li, and what was his contribution to the whole scene? He caught an arrow and just threw it.

A very well executed presentation of the intricate relationship between media and politics in this current digital world. Love how the ending focused on social ethics and family values. The only aspect of the drama that I wasn't very happy about is the editing. Some of the flashbacks scenes I felt was distracting and unnecessary but the well paced ending more than made up for it.

Captain Marvel's origin story was very well presented. It has the right balance of supernatural and humanistic elements. The tricky task of connecting the storyline and characters to the overall previous Marvel's Avengers superhero stories was also well executed. It was not overdone, just enough to keep us intringued. We got to see a more youthful and slightly playful side of Nick Fury, which was especially interesting and mischievously amusing. The only slight criticism I personally have is the relative ease through which Captain Marvel triumphed in the final battle. A few more layers of struggles could have been added.
