The two monologues by the parents are some of the most powerful speeches I’ve seen in film in a long time. All of the young actors were amazing. Anyone who wrote a review being annoyed that they don’t want to “hear about racism anymore” needs to literally wake up. These micro aggressions (and not so micro) occur every single day.
