A rambling series of reflections that tends to lack continuity or focus. Football, food and politics can pretty much be attributed to most countries in the world. Not really an insightful analysis and a little bit too repetitive. It's not a travel book in the true sense Compare this with Bill Bryson's travels in Europe. Not even close.
