I actually think it was quite good. I think people who didn't enjoy it, perhaps didn't understand it.
There wasn't meant to be any chemistry left between Dakota Johanson's and Armie Hammer's characters. Even more so if it seems like it is a bad movie with no plot that is because it is meant to be seen that way. Starting out strong and purposefully ending with everything coming undone, as seen from the main characters perspective. (But maybe that's just me), it did however excel, in creating a very uncomfortable atmosphere in a few scenes through some great camera and sound work. Don't watch if bugs en masse freak you out!
