Such an interesting premise and world completely destroyed by terrible writing and character development. It's a shame too. They were close to making something impactful. It does bring up an interesting question: if you were to be born again with all your current memories, what would you do differently? How would you change? How would you become better? How would you treat the people around you differently? The main character, Rudeus, a 40-year-old man in a child's body, takes advantage of the opportunity for a couple of episodes before devolving a sex-obsessed degenerate for the remainder of the 1.5 seasons. He actually becomes less likable, less capable, and less mature during the course of the anime. It makes men look like men look like degenerate retards and it makes women and girls look sex objects and idiots.
