To luffy character:
Please be honest. It seems like you haven't watched the anime or, at the very least, haven't grasped the essence of the characters. If you had watched One Piece, you might not have behaved the way you did. Your portrayal of Luffy was quite disappointing. You depicted him as intelligent, empathetic, and talkative when, in reality, he's impulsive and follows his instincts without overthinking things.
Let's recall the scene when Luffy visited Nami's sister's house and listened to her backstory. This was a major letdown. In the original anime, Luffy didn't delve into Nami's past; he simply trusted his gut feeling, accepted her, and welcomed her into his crew. He slept in the field in the village while others roam around the viillage to knopw Nami's past.
Similarly, he handled his encounter with Usopp in a similar manner, but it seems that you missed the mark. As a captain, Luffy's leadership shines through his unwavering trust, instinctual decisions, and his childlike, carefree nature that endears him to his crew.
Luffy is a carefree individual who seldom displays his emotions in a conventional way. He's understanding but in his unique and straightforward manner. He's not stoic; rather, he's a great friend and an exceptional captain who leads with a boundless sense of adventure and an unwavering belief in his comrades. Additionally, he has an insatiable appetite, which is a hallmark of his character that you should have captured in your portrayal.
Do you even know the reason why he became pirate at first place? BECAUSE PIRATES DON'T SHARE FOOD.
