Maybe I’m gullible for believing this wasn’t a work of fiction for as long as I did, but…I don’t really get the point of making a fake documentary…and a bad one at that. I mean, if it’s fiction anyway, why not put some effort into making it entertaining?
It was super slow and repetitive with lots of filler footage. A lot of documentaries are like that though so I held on and still trusted this was a real story that just didn’t have a lot of content to show us. I became suspicious when they started talking in circles and never really fully addressing key points.
It wasn’t until we *finally* got to see his “final footage” that I realized I had just wasted an hour and a half of my life. Bad sound effects, and the protagonist did not react in a way that any normal person would react if that situation was real.
What a dumb movie. Like I said, if you’re gonna go to the effort of making a fake documentary, you could at least make it entertaining.
Don’t waste your time with this one. It’s not even creepy fun until the last 10 minutes.
