The show could have been so good. I bought Sex in the Cityโs pink box of cds and binge watched it twice when it came out.
I lost Carrie when she started wondering if Big was a mistake after a week of sex with Aidan.
They turned Miranda into a way too needy person with Che. Che treated her like she used to treat Skippy. I actually was embarrassed for her.
Charlotteโs shrill voice whether she was mad or happy was too much. In Sex and the City she was smart and sexy. In AJLT her clothes were immature most times and way too tight.
The professor was smart and sexy and then she looked like an idiot in the drunk scene and I lost all respect for her.
Lisa Toddโs acting took second place to her outfits.
Seema at 53 never dated anyone good. While they were trying to show us how independent she was, she came off mean and she probably had no girlfriends because of it.
Stanford was always so sweet yet in every scene he was so mean and full of himself.
Aiden hadnโt changed at all. And the outfit he showed up in at the restaurant. He looked like a guy who didnโt know anything about how to impress a woman. The guy he was in Sex and the City returned. The way he treated Carrie the second time around didnโt change in the third time around.
Anthony was the same guy we loved.
Harry was the same guy we loved.
Steve was the only one who hadnโt changed. They treated his character with respect.
Lily was an overbearing brat.
Rock was a great character.
I didnโt miss Samantha at all.
But I blame all of this on the writers. The actors are amazing and I love every one of them and the movies they make.
I was so angry owe lost Willie Garson. It must have been so sad for the cast and crew, especially for SJP who was the only one who knew he was sick.
All that being said I was happy to overlook all of this just to spend an evening with Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda and all these wonderful actors.
But some of you will probably disagree with me.
And Just like that!
