I love Godzilla and this started out pretty well but then became a soap opera of family drama, forced LGBTQ+ stuff that didn’t feel authentic or focus on the story. This was not a story about Godzilla, it was a story of children searching for their father and a bunch of boring World War Two throw backs which I feel is a hard thing to do, making World War Two boring. The writers failed miserably and I’m surprised it got as good of ratings as it did. If you want to see Godzilla and monsters, go watch another Godzilla movie. He hardly shows up, I could only force myself to watch about it halfway through the series. Big thumbs down.
