Man, this touched on so many issues. The one I wish they touched more on was the part where colonized adoptees do more harm to the child when raised without an identity. How it was an actual tactic of assimilation targeting Indigenous/ native babies. The whole reason why we have the American Indian Child Welfare Act. It is not perfect but it seems like every year we get a case or two that tries to abolish it.
