This simulator boasts breathtaking scenery and endless possibilities, but it fails spectacularly at the one thing that matters most: letting me actually fly. I shelled out $700 for an Xbox just to play this $100 game, and that Xbox now serves as nothing more than a glorified decoration with only this single title installed.
From the moment you boot it up, the experience is a nightmare. It takes a staggering 15 minutes just to load the game. In Career Mode, earning a measly 10,000 requires an excruciating 5 hours of grinding and six crashes. Meanwhile, higher-paying jobs promising 50,000 are completely out of reach unless youโre prepared to invest 10+ hours and endure 50 crashes.
Free flight? Forget about it. Loading a simple Cessna 152 takes three crashes and two hours. And just when you think youโre ready to take offโthrottle up, excitement buildingโthe simulator crashes yet again. By now, Iโve lost count, but itโs somewhere around the 80th time.
If youโre looking for a true flight simulator experience, save yourself the frustration and money. Get X-Plane 12 instead. MSFS 2024 is nothing more than an overpriced patience test disguised as a game.
(I would have given 0 stars but it just doesn't allow me to)
