Predictable and full of b-grade horror cliches. Definitely not what one expects from the Conjuring franchise. Jump scares galore but plays out more as a teen romance with a horror twist. No real roles for Ed and Lorraine Warren and Annabelle herself hardly reaches any great heights in terms of reinforcing her terror persona
