An outstanding sequel to an outstanding original. Highly recommended.
Don't be fooled by cynics saying that Gladiator didn't need a sequel and that it was a complete movie by itself. They could have said the same about Star Wars, Alien, Superman, Batman, Indiana Jones, Back To the Future, Transformers, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The DC Universe, the MC Universe? Rest assured they watched the lot.
