I always felt reconstruction created more problems after the Civil War and the film 13th gave me the connections to fully understand and learn what those problems were and I totally agree our justice system is designed for the rich. We lost a generation of fathers because of the 3 strike laws. I cried for all the victims, for our society, my students and humanity. Change is on the horizon! Thank you for opening my eyes!
