The car scene [mise en scene: Cramped quarters, Camera POV: Front passenger seat] between Rosemary, Sarah Niles, and John, David Thewlis, is a tour de force. The writing as well; to include the dog a the sole vehicle determining the temperature, is mind blowing, and how Rosemary, along with the us, the passenger riding up front, are waiting to see how the dog reacts. Sensational.
