I couldn't help but feel slightly unsafe in my own home after watching this, though it was made 12 years ago. It actually got to the point where I felt the need to know if it was real or not. Though I am still unsure of that, I would like to acknowledge the acting skills in this and just the movie itself. It felt so real and, though being slightly disturbing, very intriguing. The movie is surely capable of making you wary of your surroundings, at least from my point of view. The acting was the most important part about it. The actors and actresses made it more real and more...well, they made it seem as though they were really experiencing something terrifying like that. Of course, sometimes it was a little off, but it was very fascinating in many ways. The disturbance of "The Poughkeepsie Tapes" may make some people dislike it, but for me I found it as a very captivating movie. Yes, some things made me uneasy, but it was very enthralling.
