I did not get to choose my skin color when I was born. My first school was at Altadena in California, where I was the only white child in my class. Race has not been an issue with me, ever. My family is a melting pot full of lovable people. I have watched bachelor nation since the beginning and have had many conversations with my sisters over what was happening. It has been fun entertainment. Just that. Entertainment. Now I see public shaming with Chris Harrison and Rachael. Where was the vetting before the show began? How much of this was a setup? I can only say that I cannot continue to watch this show. I get to choose my words, deeds and actions. I choose. I think it's shameful how politics has entered something I have enjoyed so much.
