As a person who was struggling at the time with mental illness, this movie spoke so deeply to me it felt like the director had referenced my therapy sessions for it.
The humanity and depth you see in these characters, along with feel-good humor and genuine love and redemption really wraps everything up in a neat bow.
It also reflects the new generation’s focus on mental health, and the ways it can consume people. Truly a beautiful and silly movie, and is great as a standalone film for non-marvel fans.
