'Personally speaking, Drishyam 2 didn't just seem to impress me, not even a tad bit. I thought it would be nail-biting, gripping and you know take you on your heels.
When I rewatched Drishyam 1 it was comparatively better than the sequel. It was having suspense and family fun all balanced. I felt too much time was gone in vain in Mohanlal's attempt in fooling the cops and it was lot like Tom and Jerry. I liked one part where the neighbors disguised as secret cops. They literally record each any every conversation which is too stupid in a way
Its just messed up with last minute ending and procuring info from Anu's teen friend was too stupid, I mean who would literally leak all their personal info. to their friend no matter how close they are?? I wouldn't do that, I mean no one would ever do that.
When the whole town was buzzing about Drishyam 2, I expected something bigger, but looks like the expectations was highly weighed on the film..
One more thing, how can u expect a common man to befriend guards? In some way or other, they'll realize that he is using their friendship for himself no? Ok, the cemetery guard knew the reason accepted, but the other guard? How can he be so dumb? How can u exchange the skeletons in a medical college which is supposed to have cameras installed in such places right??
As a saying goes ''Too much expectation leads to disappointment.''
