One star only for Vikram, the whole movie was disaster. Director might have got confused a lot while filming. First half has many unnecessary scenes especially the starting portions. Main thing is that, they should had to focus on proper Screenplay, which wasn't there in this movie. Kindly watch one old kannada movie, directed by Shankar Nag, and acted by Dr. Rajkumar movie name is: Ondu Muttina Kathe. This movie is about the Pearl and Greed, which was shown brilliantly. But Thangalaan missed all those things. They just keep mentioning gold many times. But story was getting jumped unnecessarily on super natural Power scenes.
