For anyone who has read the books this film may well disappoint. My main issue was with the casting of Pierce Brosnan as Ron - he really is not a likely actor for an ex boxer and his Cockney accent just didn't work. Like others, I am sorry that the brevity of the films meant that the character of Bogdan (wonderful acting from Henry Lloyd Hughes) may not be seen in any possible sequel. Wonderful acting from the rest of the cast but the film just didn't quite hit the spot for me.
