Sadly not as advertised. Flight dynamics are horrible and completely incorrect in several instances (especially upon takeoff/landing). Monthly updates are mandatory and require large downloads that only introduce several new ridiculous bugs, and judging by vast number of new bugs it seems the updates are not even tested prior to release. Graphics and drawing distances have gone backwards following updates. Good luck in seeing a windsock any time prior to finals. But that does not matter much as it will likely be facing the wrong direction. You’ve probably seen the beautiful blue waters around islands in any video trailer of MSFS? Well good luck in finding something similar to that in the “simulator”. Water is a homogenous blue mass, with inland water being especially poorly represented. Operating avionics during flight is close to impossible without a functioning FMS and try turning a knob on G1000 results in a constantly spinning knob and takes an age to program AP. Flight controls way too sensitive and can only be adjusted in an exponential feedback curve. Not a single aircraft in real life works on exponential control inputs and the only option to use linear input is when the standard sensitivity settings are used, but these are WAY too sensitive. Busy with PPL training and just this week did several takeoffs and landings. This is easier in real life than on the sim. Another horrible bug that crept in is aircraft suddenly without reason decides to swerve left or right shortly after landing and it is impossible to keep it anywhere near centreline. This game has huge potential but becoming tired of being a beta tester for mandatory monthly updates. Should not be classed as a simulator but rather a slow way of moving around Bing maps with some weather effects thrown in. If you want to call a game like this a sim firstly make sure flight model is accurate, and secondly add weather, elephants and flamingoes. Asobo focusing on the wrong things and messed up a good franchise. Seriously disappointed
