This game could’ve been great, but they absolutely fumbled it. I love SoulsLikes and ARPGs alike and you know what both have in common? Healing. That and spell cooldowns being 10/12/166 seconds long. The healing is only useful outside of combat when you need to spot heal about 1/4 of your health. At best , last game, you get 55% heal but all heals are heal over time. Spells are trash. You get 1 dodge spell, 2 spells and an ultimate spell. 8 second cooldown on the dodge, 10-16 seconds on your spells (and you have to choose between offense spells or block spells so it’s either offensive or you can have some defense which I’ll tell you, you’ll prob use block spells more than anything) and the “ultimate” is 166 + second cool downs. Spells cast quickly so that’s the only plus on them, but heals take 2 seconds of animation to get off. I bought the game because it seemed like a diabloesque soulslike and it’s anything but. 25 hours and I’m confident that 20 of those hours have been cutting down trees, searching for cotton, thread, stone, copper, any and every mat I can find. Just a heads up before anyone spends 40+ on this. If this is your style of game then have fun. Outside of those few things this hasn’t been a bad game. The devs just went out of their way to make it hard for the sake of being hard.
