A really enjoyable game. Pros: developing storyline, which by the end really feels like you’ve been through a variety of good characters and detailed main quest line. FF normally has nonsense chatter and completely random character scenes - this one does not. Fight mechanics are good and develop throughout the game, however the final 1/3rd you have got everything and does get a bit samey. The game is visually stunning; the PS5 does struggle to stay at 60fps even in performance mode, given the fidelity of the scenery. Cons: enemies could be more varied between just Small, Medium, Large and Boss. It can be a bit ‘just running between cut scenes’ at times, but there is enough depth to keep it interesting enough.
